Ocean Priorities Report

The Joint Ocean Commission Initiative has released Changing Oceans, Changing World: Ocean Priorities for the Obama Administration and Congress, a report that outlines priority actions for ocean and coastal policy and management, international leadership, ocean science, and funding for ocean and coastal policies and programs. Undersea Glider Video

An undersea glider
developed by the University of Washington recently returned from a record breaking six months of operating under the ice close to the Arctic Circle. Data collected by the glider helps explain how freshwater affects climate change. Watch the video.
